Manchester United have joined Chelsea and Marseille in the race to sign RC Lens right-back Jonathan Clauss.
That’s according to a recent report from journalist Nizaar Kinsella, who has claimed the Red Devils are interested in bringing the right-sided defender to Old Trafford in time for next season.
Manchester United have joined the race for £8m Jonathan Clauss.
Both Chelsea and United will only move if their players are sold.

Interestingly, Clauss, 29, is available for as little as £8m so it is clear to see why so many clubs are eager to sign him.
Like Ajax’s Lisandro Martinez, who is set to complete a £46m move to Old Trafford, RC Lens’ number 11 is a very versatile player.

The 29-year-old can play at right-back and a little further forward and fill in as a winger.
Given the Red Devils’ need for another attacker, as well as a new right-back, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Erik ten Hag push to sign another player capable of filling in across multiple roles.
