Cristiano Ronaldo has finally broken the silence on his future by posting a workout photo on social media.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner shared a snap of himself working out in United’s training shorts from last season.
While it’s not unusual to see pictures of Ronaldo working out in the gym, I think his recent social media update will only raise more questions about his future because he has yet to report to United for pre-season training.
The Portuguese star has been given extended leave due to a personal issue.

It was previously reported that Ronaldo has asked to leave United after a disappointing season without a trophy, but his latest post backs up a belief we’ve recently shared on the Strettycast about the strong likelihood of him being at Old Trafford next season.
Erik ten Hag is adamant that he will be working with Ronaldo next season.
