Saudi Arabia club make £210m Cristiano Ronaldo offer

Cristiano Ronaldo has an offer to move to Saudi Arabia.

The offer from Saudi Arabia would see Manchester United receive an eye-watering transfer fee of around £30 million, while Cristiano Ronaldo would pocket an eye-water salary in the region of £105 million per year, according to TVI and CNN Portugal.

An additional £20 million will be put towards agent fees.

The £210m offer has been cited by The Express and it’s first time we’ve seen Ronaldo linked with such a drastic move.

While I’m sure Cristiano Ronaldo is looking forward to playing at the World Cup in Qatar later this year, in a quest to become a world champion with Portugal, I’m not sure he is willing to completely give up on his hopes of playing in the Champions League by moving away from Europa permanently.

If the Champions League is what Ronaldo wants, it only needs to be a year-long wait at most (if he stays at United. The Europa League may be a second-rate competition, but how would you describe football in Saudi Arabia right now?

The Saudi club in question has not been named, which is bound to raise some suspicion over a deal, but they may be testing the waters first to see if Ronaldo would be interested in a move.

I would be shocked if this happened.
