Manchester United are off to the best possible start in this summer’s pre-season as they comfortably swept the floor with Liverpool in Bangkok.
United ran out four-nil winners against Jurgen Klopp’s side and were even awarded with some silverware for their efforts before jetting off to Australia.
Erik ten Hag utilised most of the players at his disposal, with less than a handful watching from the bench and some players ruled out through injury.
Goals from Anthony Martial, Fred, Jadon Sancho and Facundo Pellistri ensured a winning start to their summer tour and the players have reacted to the comprehensive victory on social media.

Next up for United are three games in Australia, with the first game against Melbourne Victory kicking off early on Friday. Luis Nani, who spent seven years at eight years at United, joined the Australian club earlier this week and could play in the game.
Ten Hag will hope to have signed at least one more player by then, with Christian Eriksen looking likely to become United’s second signing of the summer.
United have a verbal agreement with the Danish international and only a medical is missing before he can put pen to paper on a three-year contract.
