Erik ten Hag will continue to put his players through their paces in Asia before the Manchester United squad moves to Australia for the next phase of their pre-season tour.
Over the coming weeks, the new management team and the squad of players will get to know more about one another. Right now the players should be doing their utmost to impress Ten Hag to give them every chance of being in the first starting line-up when the Premier League season kicks-off.
At the press conference earlier today, Ten Hag confirmed that Harry Maguire will remain club captain as we approach the new season.
Maguire was spotted training alone at the open session with could be due to an injury. However, the manager didn’t say anything of note this morning.
Ahead of Tuesday’s game against Liverpool in Bangkok, United have hosted an open training session for fans to enjoy some of the action up close.
