Manchester United are reported to have held talks over a move for Sasa Kalajdzic.
The 25-year-old centre-forward plays for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga and scored six goals in 15 games last season.
According to Sky Germany, Manchester United see the Austria international as an alternative to Brian Brobbey, as a potential attacker to join in this summer. Talks have reportedly took place with the player’s entourage.
He’s a big lad standing at 6ft 7in and you can easily see why he would be a decent Plan B option. I wouldn’t be against the idea of signing a big centre-forward if it gives the manager more options up front.
The Austrian could be looking for a route into the Premier League, but I have not seen anything to convince me he will be at Old Trafford next season.
Whoever comes in will have to play second fiddle to Cristiano Ronaldo unless the Portuguese star decides to leave Old Trafford for a second time in his career this summer.
