Betting odds suggest Cristiano Ronaldo has a greater chance of staying at Manchester United this summer than leaving, with multiple outlets now running the news that he wishes to leave Old Trafford for a second time in his career.
United have not been able to deny the reports – but claim the Portuguese superstar will not be sold as he has a year remaining on his contract.
It very much depends on how Erik ten Hag wants to handle the situation because he could easily decide that he doesn’t want any bad influences around the dressing room, and there’s no denying that Ronaldo will become that if he’s suddenly starting to sulk over missing out on a place in the Champions League next season.
