Manchester United players who haven’t been involved in international football over the summer have returned to Carrington to start pre-season.
It will be the first time a lot of these players will work with Ten Hag, who won three Eredivisie titles during his time at Ajax, but there is one player he already knows.
Donny van de Beek was at Carrington to welcome his former manager. The midfielder will be hoping that under Ten Hag, he will get the chance to prove himself at Old Trafford, after failing to impress previous managers at Old Trafford.
It will be interesting to see how he – and other players – perform in Ten Hag’s side next season. United have a lot of work to do judging on last season and we’ve been pretty slow in the transfer market.
David de Gea, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof were part of the group at training this morning.
Academy starlet Alejandro Garnacho was also spotted at Carrington training complex.

All the best to Donny.personally I really sympathize with this dude given the manner in which he has been treated.but now that the coach under whom he thrived has arrived he has no excuse whatsoever. This is his best time to prove to us what sort of player he is coz the odds are now tilted very much in his favour.all the best lad…
Goodluck Ten Hag. Please get Cristiano Ronaldo to this squad.
