Manchester United are reportedly considering alternatives to Lisandro Martinez.

According to French news outlet Foot Mercato, the Red Devils are believed to be interest in a move for Borussia Dortmund defender Dan-Axel Zagadou.

The 23-year-old came through Paris Saint-Germain’s academy before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2017 on a free transfer.

Although he arrived with lots of potential, Zagadou struggled in Germany due to injuries and has struggled to get a consistent run of games in the team. His contract expires next season which means he could be an option for United when he becomes a free agent.

Ligue 1 side Nice are believed to be interested in Zagadou.

United have already offered Christian Eriksen a contract, with the midfielder’s contract set to expire at Brentford, though Thomas Frank hopes to keep the Dane for at least another season.

  1. I think it is a brilliant idea. Free trsnsfer. Keep more cash for dividends. Give Murtough and Fletcher a pay rise.

  2. Man utd in need to buy young talented players and they are available in the market but there is a big problem they are not above 75m they can be bought below 15m but transfer is a big money scam the players should have big agents
