Manchester United are reportedly considering alternatives to Lisandro Martinez.
According to French news outlet Foot Mercato, the Red Devils are believed to be interest in a move for Borussia Dortmund defender Dan-Axel Zagadou.
The 23-year-old came through Paris Saint-Germain’s academy before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2017 on a free transfer.
Although he arrived with lots of potential, Zagadou struggled in Germany due to injuries and has struggled to get a consistent run of games in the team. His contract expires next season which means he could be an option for United when he becomes a free agent.
Ligue 1 side Nice are believed to be interested in Zagadou.
United have already offered Christian Eriksen a contract, with the midfielder’s contract set to expire at Brentford, though Thomas Frank hopes to keep the Dane for at least another season.
Let us know in the comments section how you feel about United trying to use the free agent market?
I think it is a brilliant idea. Free trsnsfer. Keep more cash for dividends. Give Murtough and Fletcher a pay rise.
Man utd in need to buy young talented players and they are available in the market but there is a big problem they are not above 75m they can be bought below 15m but transfer is a big money scam the players should have big agents
Tuanzebe is better than him.
