United fans plan anti-Glazer protest ahead of Ten Hag’s first game at Old Trafford

Manchester United fans are planning a peaceful protest against the Glazer family’s ownership of the club in pre-season.

According to the Manchester Evening News, a group of supporters will look to protest outside Old Trafford ahead of the final pre-season fixture of the summer against Rayo Vallecano on July 1.

Richard Fay reports: “It is understood supporters will arrive at United’s home stadium a number of hours before kick-off for the demonstration and will come together to voice their anger at the club’s controversial ownership model.”

The fans have long had enough of the Glazers.

For instance, The 1958 recently stepped up their efforts against the ownership by protesting outside the club’s Mayfair offices in London.

Their sheer greed continues as they pocketed a further £11m in dividends on Friday – following a disappointing season on the pitch, with everyone talking about the need for stadium investment and improvements at Carrington.

What a way to welcome Erik ten Hag to Manchester, eh? I’m sure he will soon understand the frustrations we have with the Glazers.
