Manchester United fan group The 1958 staged a protest outside the club’s Mayfair office in London on Friday.

Fans vented their frustrations at the Glazer family on the day they pocketed £11m following a dividend payout – all while Manchester United is in desperate need of investment with its squad, stadium and training ground facilities.

A group of United fans took it upon themselves to visit the office. They displayed a banner across the entrance to Stratton House, which is located in Mayfair, and out a sticker on a sign leading up to the entrance.

The banner said: “We want our club back. Some things are worth fighting for.”

The 1958 tweeted: “We thought we’d pay a visit to the United offices in Mayfair today to show our disgust at the leeches taking money out of a failing business.

“We assume they are busy arranging the Glazers bank transfer! These leeches need to go! Some things are worth fighting for.”

The 1958’s popularity has grown in recent months, and we suspect they will have more plans in the pipeline.

  1. Y’all should should stop wasting your time protesting. Empty stadium in 3 or 4 home games will show them how serious you are.
