Manchester United willing to sell Brandon Williams for £10m this summer

Manchester United’s stance on selling Brandon Williams is becoming clear, if a report is to be believed.

The academy graduate spent last season on loan at Norwich, where he often impressed despite the team finishing last in the Premier League and suffering relegation back to the Championship.

Williams made 29 appearances in all competitions for the Canaries last season, but it doesn’t sound like he will be part of Erik ten Hag’s plans at Old Trafford.

According to The Sun, it is thought a fee of around £10m may be enough to land the England U21 international.

It is understood that Williams wants regular first team football after getting a taste of that last term. He is very unlikely to get that at United.

Yet have yet to make any additions this summer but Williams is currently competing for places at left-back with Luke Shaw and Alex Telles. He is also versatile enough to play at right-back.

Williams is a player I liked having at United and think he would a useful option next season.

If his objective is to play regular football, we would be wrong to stand in his way.
