A match against Kidderminster Harriers will take place on Tuesday 26 July at 19:00 BST.
This is the second fixture confirmed for the youths this summer, with a trip to Altrincham already on the cards for Saturday 30 July.
United have yet to announce a new manager for the U21s in the wake of Neil Wood’s appointment as Salford City head coach.
However, Mark Dempsey and Paul McShane are expected to take charge for the upcoming pre-season games.
The U21 set-up shouldn’t take long to rearrange ahead of a new season.
