Cristiano Ronaldo was in action for Portugal earlier this week as his Portugal side claimed top spot in their UEFA Nations League group, which includes Spain, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.
The 37-year-old scored twice in their 4-0 win over Switzerland but failed to find the net four days later against the Czech Republic.
He did, however, make one lucky ball boy’s day after his shot was parried out for a corner by the goalkeeper, as seen below.

Portugal have one more game to play before this set of international fixtures is over but Ronaldo will play no part, his manager has confirmed.
His exclusion will allow him to go on an early holiday and return in time for Erik ten Hag’s first pre-season, with the forward expected to be a key player on the Dutchman.
