Alessandro Bastoni’s agent recently met with Inter Milan directors and has addressed reports in the media linking his client with a switch to the Premier League.
Tullio Tinti, who represents the Italian centre-back, was spotted entertaining the club’s headquarters before speaking to reporters on his way out.
He shut down transfer speculation linking the defender with moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
“Bastoni will certainly remain at Inter,” Tinti told reporters, as per Football-Italia.
“He has a contract with Inter, he is happy to play at Inter and there’s no problem.”
The reporters doubled down with their questions by asking if Bastoni will be offered a new contract to extend his stay at Inter.
Tinti said: “I respect contracts. If they call me, there’s no problem.”
