Inter Milan are reportedly willing to listen to offers for right-wing-back Denzel Dumfries.

That’s according to a recent report from Italian outlet Calciomercato, who claims the Netherlands international has emerged as a surprise summer transfer target for both Bayern Munich and Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United.

Dumfries, 26, signed for the Nerazzurri last summer after agreeing to leave Dutch side PSV in a deal worth a modest £12m.

However, despite only being at the San Siro for the past 12-months, this summer could see the 26-year-old set for another big move.

United’s reported interest certainly makes sense.

Not only are the 20-time league winners now under the direction of Ten Hag, a compatriot of Dumfries’, but the club are on the lookout for a new right-back, and that pursuit will only intensify further should Aaron Wan-Bissaka find a route out of Old Trafford.

Although the Italian side have yet to receive any formal offers for Dumfries, with the Red Devils and Julian Naglesmann’s Bayern Munich becoming increasingly more interested in the right-sided player, it could be just a matter of time until one of Europe’s biggest clubs makes a move.
