Manchester United starlet James Garner has serval admirers at Premier League club

It is understood that there will be plenty of interest in James Garner this summer.

We already know that Nottingham Forest will try to take him back on loan if they can win the play-off final against Huddersfield Town to secure promotion to the Premier League.

The 21-year-old initially impressed on loan at Nottingham Forest last season and they decided to take him back for another campaign. It’s worked out because they’ve been one of the best sides in the Championship this season, with Garner playing a huge role in their quest to the play-off final.

According to The Athletic, Southampton are thought to be paying close attention to whether the England U21 will feature in Erik ten Hag’s plans. The Dutchman will likely assess the situation in the summer when he sees what Garner can offer during the pre-season tour.

Southampton finished 15th after winning once in their final 13 Premier League games. It has been speculated that manager Ralph Hasenhuttl will look to make an array of changes to his squad over the summer, and now Garner is being tipped as a potential target.

When you look at how limited our options are in midfield, as well as how poor we have been in that particular department for years, I don’t think United should be rushing into a decision over sending Garner out on loan again. Now would be a good time to give him a chance.

It could be a case of now or never for Garner at United.
