There was some interesting rumours over the weekend that Manchester City are interested in signing Paul Pogba on a free transfer this summer.
It is widely believed that Pogba will be leaving United for free in the summer when his contract expires, bringing an end to a largely disappointing stint at Old Trafford.
Pogba has only shown glimpses of his best in a United shirt, but they have been all too rare, and I don’t think there will be any fans losing sleep over his departure.
Obviously it would be a kick in the teeth to see him join one of our rivals on a free, but I strongly believe that comes down to United not cashing in when they had the chance.
Reliable journalist David Ornstein provided an update on Pogba’s situation and said that a move abroad is more likely, but we must wait for Man City to make the player an offer.

Given the glimpses of excellence Pogba has shown for United, along with his consistent brilliance for France, Pep Guardiola would be taking a risk with the France international.
Moreover, does he really want to stay in the Premier League or would Pogba prefer to return to Turin?
