Bruno Fernandes scored his 10th Premier League goal of the season against Brentford last night, which was his 50th in a Manchester United shirt.
Manchester United won 3-0 and did so convincingly despite failing to put the sword to most teams they’ve come up against this campaign.
The newly promoted Premier League still have some work to do in order to guarantee safety, but Thomas Frank and his players have done well in the top flight and should be able to cross the line.
Fernandes spoke to Sky Sports after the match and committed himself to United next season.
“I think I can be part of that, I think I can help the team and the club,” Fernandes said. “That’s why I’m still here and want to be here.”

Of course, the Portugal international has already signed a new contract, but I think he is referring more to getting back to our best on the pitch next season and beyond.
Hopefully Fernandes can have a big influence on Erik ten Hag’s side.
