(Video) “He’s lost the eye of the tiger” – Keane discusses Rashford’s struggles at United

Marcus Rashford was overlooked again by Ralf Rangnick tonight.

Although we have cited reports that claim Erik ten Hag will hand Rashford a lifeline at United next season, there is no denying that the academy graduate would’ve wanted to have played in the last home game of the season.

Roy Keane has been discussing Rashford’s struggles on Monday Night Football and he claimed he has lost the eye of the tiger.

“I think he’s lost the eye of the tiger,” Keane said, as per Sky Sports.

As someone previously seen as a star player at United, he has fallen some distance over the course of one season after recovering from a serious injury. It’s pretty harsh if you ask me.

I think a lot of people should look at his development down the years, if he was nurtured the right way and whether previous managers were right to play him regardless of injuries.

I’m not trying to make excuses for Rashford because he has been poor this season. I just hope that the Erik ten Hag can tackle it as a confident issue and helps the England international to get back to his best form.
