Paul Scholes doesn’t believe there is a quick fix for the problems that exist at Manchester United.
In an interview on talkSPORT, the former Manchester United midfielder turned pundit says we are five years away from challenging for the Premier League title.
Scholes is acknowledging that there are a number of problems at the club — some that Erik ten Hag won’t be able to fix on his own.
Time will tell if John Murtough can improve football matters away from the pitch, stepping into his new role as football director. He can’t be worse than Ed Woodward!

It will certainly take time to rebuild the squad.
On top of that, United must learn how to recruit better players. Too many have failed to develop after joining the club in recent years and that doesn’t happen at other top clubs.
