Manchester United willing to listen to offers for 5 players this summer

Manchester United are willing to listen to offers for Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Anthony Martial, Alex Telles and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

That is according to ESPN’s Rob Dawson, who is a reliable journalist when it comes to Manchester United news, and I don’t think fans will lose any sleep over the possibility of those players leaving.

The article suggests that Erik ten Hag will have a transfer kitty worth between £100 million and £150m, but that will be increased by outgoing transfers.

Dean Henderson is a player who is likely to leave in the summer, but he is still valued by the club. That means United are going to try persuading the player to stay or go out on a season-long loan. It would be pointless to keep him on the bench for another year.

Moreover, Dawson adds that Ralf Rangnick’s advice to buy 10 new players is unlikely to be heeded. This tells us that the Glazer family are looking for more shortcuts.

It’s hardly surprising to hear that the Glazers are going to ignore Rangnick’s recommendations. I mean, what do they know about football?
