Fred could be about to return to action for Manchester United.
The midfielder confirmed that he is back training with United with a post on Instagram.
Fred picked up a muscle injury against Everton at the start of April. As the engine in Ralf Rangnick’s midfield, United struggled to cope without the Brazil international especially in the defeats against Liverpool and Arsenal.
The 29-year-old took to his Instagram story on Monday and shared a short clip of him kitted out in his football boots, along with the message “a blessed week to all” – suggesting that he is happy to be back training.
I’m sure Rangnick will give us an update on Fred’s recovery when he speaks to the press on Wednesday before the Reds take on Chelsea.
