Liverpool fans paid tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo by holding a one-minute of applause in the 7th minute during their 4-0 win over Manchester United on Tuesday night.
Both sets of fans joined in to show support for Ronaldo and his partner Georgina following the death of their newborn son.

Ronaldo has responded to the ovation and mark of respect from the fans, writing on Instagram: “One world… One sport… One global family… Thanks, Anfield.
“Me and my family will never forget this moment of respect and compassion.”
