Manchester United duo Anthony Elanga and Victor Lindelof were both pictured after a big win for Sweden last night.
Elanga came on in extra time against the Czech Republic to make his senior international debut for Sweden, while Lindelof started the game at centre-back.
Although the young forward only got 5 minutes on the pitch, it’s a remarkable achievement, and he will now look forward to Sweden’s play-off with Poland for a place at the World Cup.
We would all prefer to see Elanga at the World Cup for the first time instead of Robert Lewandowski, even if we know that won’t be a popular opinion among the football community.
The 19-year-old took to social media to share his pride in reaching another personal landmark, writing: ‘Debut. Win. One step closer to our goal!!!’
