Manchester United fan, Ben Dickinson, had a weekend to remember after completing his charity walk from Northern Ireland to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
The 10-year-old met Sir Alex Ferguson after arriving at Old Trafford and was presented with a signed Manchester United shirt.
After being inspired by Marcus Rashford, Ben set out to walk 50 miles for food-poverty charity Fareshare, and he got the enjoy a memorable win for his efforts.
Ben began his ‘Miles for Meals’ walk from Inver Park on 3 March and concluded his challenge at 14:30 GMT on Saturday – just in time to relax before watching the mighty Reds beat Tottenham 3-2 thanks to a Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick.
