Manchester United will be releasing a new training top to welcome shirt sponsors Tezos.
The club’s eight-year association with American insurance company Aon ended last season and that was believed to have been worth £120 million over the years.
United are now associating themselves with a blockchain platform — Tezos — which is a type of decentralised computer network like Ethereum.
Kit manufacture Adidas still design the shirt, and they’ve given Tezos plenty of space in the middle of the shirt to show off their logo.

This is sure to be worth lots of coin to the Glazers, on top of the lucrative dividends they take from the club annually, so I’m not sure I will be rushing to the store for a new training top anytime soon.
But, like I always say, each to their own.
