Although it wasn’t a night to remember at Old Trafford, as Manchester United crashed out of the FA Cup, but we can still take positives from Jadon Sancho’s performance.
The England international is slowly adapting to English football but he put in one of his best displays yet last night.
Sancho played with confidence and finally looked like the man that was bought from Borussia Dortmund.
He was cool in control and showed plenty of flair, as you will see from the footage below when he broke forward before picking out Marcus Rashford inside the box.
You could argue Sancho should have had a hat-trick, but his first Old Trafford goal will hopefully inspire more.
The footage above, courtesy of ITV Football, shows how dangerous Sancho can be on the attack. It’s just a shame Rashford wasn’t able to score in his third consecutive game because it would have been a stunning goal.
It also shows that left-back Luke Shaw is building an understanding with Sancho.
Sadly, United are out of the FA Cup and we can only win the Champions League from this point.
No pressure.
