(Photos) Manchester United players arrive for training on deadline day

It’s a busy week for Manchester United as Ralf Rangnick’s side prepare to face Middlesbrough in the FA Cup fourth round.

The interim manager will look to lift the mood in the dressing room after what has been a difficult 24 hours for everyone connected to Manchester United. A run in the cup would help players take their minds away from off-field matters, and in turn set them on track to enjoy themselves on the pitch.

Photographs (via Manchester Evening News) surfaced this morning of some players arriving at Carrington on deadline day, as the club looks to close any deals they might be working on, such as Jesse Lingard who clearly wants to leave United.

We uploaded three of the photos to social media, as seen below via @StrettyNews:

Marcus Rashford, Raphael Varane and Diogo Dalot were among those spotted entering the training ground.

The players had a week off to rest up ahead of a busy fixture list so they should be firing to go on Friday night in the cup.

Facing Boro in the next round gives us a glorious chance of progressing and we can’t let complacency get in the way of that.

I really want a trophy this season!
