Manchester United youngster Reece Devine has joined Walsall on loan for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old made 10 SPL appearances for St Johnstone earlier in the season, but he has yet to be handed a senior debut at United.
Devine never really got a proper run of games at St Johnstone, so we’ll be rooting for him to have a better time of it at Walsall.
Walsall manager Matt Taylor told BBC Radio WM: “He’s really hungry and he has good experience. He was out on loan at St Johnstone earlier in the season.
“He’s combative, he wants to fight and he has obviously got wonderful technical elements to his game because of his upbringing.”
The left-back has played five games for United’s U21s in the EFL Trophy but this is another opportunity for him to gain first team experience.
Walsall are currently 18th in League Two, 12 points off the play-off places, so they have a lot of work to do between now and the end of the season.
Devine could make his debut against Joey Barton’s Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
