Man United attacker hints at permanent Man United transfer

Anthony Martial has weighed in on what the future may have in store for him.

The Manchester United winger, who joined Sevilla on loan until the end of the season, has hinted that a permanent move could be on the cards.

Martial, 26, joined the Red Devils in 2015 following a bumper £54m move from French side Monaco.

Despite kicking his United career off with a bang following a debut goal against arch-rivals Liverpool, Martial’s career has stalled in recent seasons.

With goals and assists drying up, the 26-year-old has continually found himself way down in the side’s pecking order with Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival last summer only adding to the Frenchman’s plight.

Anthony Martial will spend the remainder of the season on loan with Sevilla.

Allowed to join Sevilla on loan until the end of the current season, Martial will now look to turn his fortunes around by plying his trade in Spain’s top-flight.

Although Martial is set to return to Old Trafford at the end of the season, the 26-year-old has suggested that his long-term future may lie away from Manchester.

Speaking in a scheduled press conference following his official unveiling, the United wide-man, as quoted by journalist Fabrizio Romano, said: “My loan move to Sevilla is valid for next five months, end of the season… but you never know what happens in the future. We’ll see”
