United and West Ham went- head-to-head in what was a hugely important match in the race to qualify for Champions League football next season.

Although it was Ralf Rangnick’s Reds who came away with all three points, following a 93rd-minute winner from Marcus Rashford, Rice still heaped the praise on Saturday’s opponents.

“I was loving it,” the midfielder told reporters after the game. “I think every time I come to Old Trafford, I have always said – it is one of my favourite places to play.

“It is an amazing stadium.”
