Fresh claims have credited Manchester United with an interest in Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.
The Portuguese midfielder has been linked with a transfer away from Wolves since he helped the side gain promotion into the Premier League in 2018, and links to United never seemed too distant.
After Monday night’s 1-0 defeat against Wolves, manager Bruno Lage will be desperate to keep hold of Neves, even more so mid-way through a season when he’s a regular starter for Wolves.
United have been name-checked in a tweet suggesting interest is ‘building’ in Neves.
Alex Crook, who works for talkSPORT and the Mirror, has made the claims on Twitter.

Way to bring attention to the radio station!
I can picture thousands of transfer-thirsty football fans rushing to talkSPORT for the evening, only to be fed news about an unlikely arrival at Old Trafford.
Neves doesn’t exactly fit the profile of a defensive midfielder.
I don’t think you’ll find me rushing to any radio station for transfer news this month. Not unless something surprising happens.
