Manchester United are preparing to host Bruno Lage’s Wolverhampton Wanderers in Monday’s only Premier League match.
Ralf Rangnick will lead his Red Devils to Old Trafford following a decent 3-1 win over Burnley last time out.
In light of what has been a turbulent and hugely disruptive festive period due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, United are one of the league’s teams who currently have at least two games in hand.
Looking to improve on their current position of seventh, Rangnick will be hoping to secure a win against Wolves and propel his side up to fifth and level on points with West Ham United.

Elsewhere, Wolves, who are currently ranked ninth, will be keen to continue their rise up the top half of the table.
Ahead of what is an intriguing matchup, both sides have named their starting teams with Rangnick opting to recall defender Phil Jones.
The English defender has not featured in the Premier League for almost exactly two years, however, Monday’s game against Wolves will give the centre-back a rare chance to impress his new manager.
