David de Gea looks to be back to his best this season – just months after a number of fans on social media called for Dean Henderson to take over as first choice goalkeeper.
It felt weird last season because after all of the great years De Gea has given us between the sticks, it would take a lot for me to turn my back on him. He would need to be crap for years!
But I am delighted to see him back to his best.
On Sunday, after Ronaldo fired United into the lead against Norwich from the penalty spot, De Gea pulled off an equally important save at the other end of the pitch.
What a save from David de Gea 🧤

Norwich was pushing for an equaliser in stoppage time, so Eric Bailly and Harry Maguire had to put their bodies on the line before De Gea made a stunning save at his near post to deny former Liverpool player Ozan Kabak – who was positioned offside.
Kabak being offside takes absolutely nothing away from the save.
