Manchester United are trailing against Arsenal at Old Trafford following a truly bizarre incident that saw the Gunners take the lead after just 14-minutes.
Goalkeeper David De Gea was in the process of preparing to defend a corner when teammate Fred appeared to accidentally stand on the side of his ankle.
Clearly in pain, the Spanish shot-stopper fell to the floor, however, after refusing to stop the game, referee Martin Atkinson allowed play to go on and Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe smashed a volley into United’s unmanned net.

Despite a fairly long VAR check, the match’s officials cleared Arsenal of any wrongdoing and allowed the strange goal to stand.
Following the decision, several members of the Red Devils’ team, including offender Fred, were seen protesting, sadly to no avail.
Man Utd players CANNOT BELIEVE IT!
