Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay made it a very special day for one young Manchester United supporter, in the away end at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.
The Reds earned a point on the road against an in-form Chelsea side, who I hear the pundits rave over, but they weren’t anything special today.
McTominay was involved in a midfield trio that had to work hard against Chelsea’s fast-passing approach: the midfield also included Nemanja Matic and Fred.
We can be happy with the point but after being in a winning position – as well as giving away a stupid penalty – part of me feels robbed of three points.
Anyhow, McTominay went out of his way to gift a young fan his shirt after the match.
