Could you image Roy Keane with Gary Neville as the assistant at Manchester United? No, me neither, while Micah Richards certainly doesn’t think they would have enough to bridge the gap at the top of the Premier League.
Of course, it was all jokes in the Sky Sports studio… you wouldn’t have thought a man had just lost his job?
The idea of having Keane in charge stemmed from Sky Sports’ Super Sunday show – featuring Robbie Keane, Jamie Redknapp and Richards.
Richards asked if United need a Keane-esque character right now to toughen up the dressing room, and quickly replied with “probably not” which prompted laughter from the panel.
Robbie 🗣 "Roy Keane will sort it out"
Jamie 🗣 "Roy Keane and @GNev2 as assistant."
Micah 🗣 "I'm not saying he couldn't do it, but the relationship with the players, he's slagged off half the dressing room." 🤣

If anyone could point us to what Richards has done as a manager that would be great? Thanks in advance.
United are currently in the process of appointing an interim manager to steer the ship until the end of the season. Who will they go for then?
