“Forever grateful” – Harry Maguire sends heartfelt message to Solskjaer after sacking

Harry Maguire is sorry to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer depart Manchester United.

Unless you’ve been asleep beneath a rock, you will know that Manchester United have dismissed manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The players are taking their turns in writing messages about their former manager on social media, with Marcus Rashford already wishing Solskjaer the best moving forward.

Harry Maguire is the latest to thank the former United manager for their time together, after he was responsible for signing him from Leicester City as well as making him club captain.

The England international was a loyal servant to Solskjaer but he also became a big problem in his defence, especially towards the end.

Maguire wrote the following on Twitter: “You signed me for the best club in the world and gave me the biggest honour in football. Huge respect and forever grateful.

“Thankyou for everything boss.

“Legend.”

Does this sound more sincere than the aimless apologies that usually come from Maguire’s social media?
