Manchester United remain undecided after emergency meeting on Solskjaer’s future

We brought you reports tonight about Manchester United calling an emergency meeting to discussing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and there’s already an update.

Well, of sorts…

The Times initially claimed that a virtual board meeting would take place at 7pm, after Manchester United’s shock 4-1 defeat at the hands of Watford at Vicarage Road.

The article, written by well-known podcaster Duncan Castles, added that the Glazer family have instructed club officials to accelerate attempts to persuade Zinedine Zidane.

It would take a lot to persuade Zizou since it has been long rumoured that he wants to take Didier Deschamp’s job as France manager after the next World Cup.

That’s a clear push from the Glazer family, but only Joel Glazer has the choice to sack the manager, so ultimately the decision will come down to him.

There has been an update from Sky Sports which means we can all go back to bed and follow this story again tomorrow because Solskjaer’s future is still “undecided” following the emergency meeting.

It’s worth noting that The Sun’s Neil Custis pretty much claims that Solskjaer’s time has come to an end.
