The Conservative MP for Dover, who sparked public outrage in July after sticking the boot into Rashford, suggested the Manchester United star should stick to his football rather than battling the Government over its position on free school meals.
Her private message read (via The Guardian): “They lost — would it be ungenerous to say Rashford should have spent more time perfecting his game and less time playing politics.”

Moreover, it turns out Ms Elphicke has also spent time away from her day job, earning £36,000 on top of her £82,000 MP’s salary in her role as chair of the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB), as per iNews.
Rashford was one of three England players to have missed in the penalty shoot-out and all three were racially abused after the match.
Away from the football, however, Rashford has worked on books for children to help with their reading and his fight to end child food poverty is ongoing after receiving an MBE at Windsor Castle during the week.
Rashford pulled out of the England squad for the November internationals to focus on his recovery at United.
