Sir Alex Ferguson arrives at Man United’s Carrington complex for showdown talks

Sir Alex Ferguson, who is understood to be one of three senior club officials still backing on-the-ropes manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has reportedly arrived at the club’s Carrington complex.

That’s according to a recent report from MEN, who claims the Scottish legend, along with former chairman Martin Edwards, have arrived at Carrington to ‘hold talks’ with the club’s staff.

These reports come just days after the Red Devils were thumped 5-0 by arch-rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Following the crushing defeat, which is one of the club’s worst in their history, Solskjaer’s position as manager is now under threat.

Despite the Norweigan being expected to remain in charge, until at least the side’s next domestic match against Tottenham Hotspur, there is mounting pressure on the Glazer family to replace him.

With the side now back in training, Ferguson is understood to arrive at the training complex to discuss the crisis the club currently finds itself in.
