Sir Alex Ferguson, who is understood to be one of three senior club officials still backing on-the-ropes manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has reportedly arrived at the club’s Carrington complex.

That’s according to a recent report from MEN, who claims the Scottish legend, along with former chairman Martin Edwards, have arrived at Carrington to ‘hold talks’ with the club’s staff.

These reports come just days after the Red Devils were thumped 5-0 by arch-rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Following the crushing defeat, which is one of the club’s worst in their history, Solskjaer’s position as manager is now under threat.

Despite the Norweigan being expected to remain in charge, until at least the side’s next domestic match against Tottenham Hotspur, there is mounting pressure on the Glazer family to replace him.

With the side now back in training, Ferguson is understood to arrive at the training complex to discuss the crisis the club currently finds itself in.

  1. Man u should try to be effective in its midfield, for C Rinaldo and other attackers to function very well

  2. Ferguson must stay out of this.. He’s no longer the manager.. He wants to be known as the legend and irreplaceable.

  3. I think this is the worst ever ive seen man u play they had no heart during the game, ole is to blame for what is happening at the club with staff and players,he dosnt have controll of players, so he should go and get more experince before he takes on a big club
The owners sacked davide moyes with 10 months at the club, so why speacial treatment for ole. Ive been a supporter of man united many years, ole was a great player he won many trophys but not a
    coach!

  4. With an abundant group of talented and experienced players and forwards, Man U is one of the finest team. Just line a good Chef, with the right ingredients he delivers fantastic food.. Similarly, Man U needs an experienced Manager, he will deliver and win every single matches….Attack with 4 2 4 n win..

  5. The players already lost confidence in him.
There won’t be any need for him to remain as the manager.
I pity him, a very gentle man.
I wish him well in his future career.

  6. Modern football is about pleasing the supporters who pay to watch the team play. And of course theres6some expectations for the team to win.

Immediate competitors are doing well, with experienced managers. Solskjaer was OK for the role he was initially called to do. He failed EPL test. Unless the board is content with the teaming competing to be in the conference league positions..then they’ve the man they want..and soon they’ll be knocked off their patch.

  7. Solskjaer is weak and doesn’t have the mental capacity to manage a team like Man U.Sad to say it is going to get progressively worse. I believe that he should be replaced before it reach that stage.

  8. MANAGER HAS TO ANSWER. BUT HE ALSO RELIES OD HIS ASSISTANTS. IF HE FINDS INEFFICIENCY HE SHOULD REPLACE THE ASSISTANTS OR ASSISTANT.

  9. We need strong best 11 players on pitch, when we score and upper level than we need subs. But playing with second team if always negative results. Come on we got world class players. We need best midfield players to control game such as attacking and defensive.
Manager should only go for win and 3 points.

  10. Until ole is out i won’t watch my favour club play cause we can do better ther bench team could’ve beaten Liverpool on Sunday but every game ole used the same dull tactics that isn’t working and same players week in weekout and you have a strong bench. Danny, Alex, lingard, sancho, pogba should’ve started based on how Liverpool plays you need speed from those players pogba with those long passes to give the assist recap the game and you see what i mean ole play your bench am tired of seeing headless Fred in the starting 11 give danny some game time look a how good Jessie plays rn give him some game time you will have a good squad only if your bench is as strong as your first team. Play your bench you need to put cavani back in 5he scored some awesome goals last season what are you doing Ole?

  11. Man United need a clear out don’t win trophys with legends need fresh faces with desire and passion looking at the staff on the bench have not got a clue
