(Video) ‘We didn’t defend well enough’ – Solskjaer reacts after disappointing defeat v Leicester City

Manchester United’s unbeaten run away from home came to an end today after a 4-2 beating against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Things looked positive when Mason Greenwood opened the scoring with a stunning strike from outside the box.

But the Foxes equalised 12 minutes later when Youri Tielemans’ wayward cross floated over David de Gea and into the net. Another 5 minutes passed, and Leicester took the lead through Caglar Soyuncu, only for Marcus Rashford to mark his return from injury with a goal.

Jamie Vardy scored shortly later and Patson Daka added a fourth in stoppage-time.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke to beIN SPORTS after the match and said the defence lacked focus throughout the game.

“A lack of focus. We didn’t defend well enough.”

It didn’t help that Harry Maguire looked a million miles off being match fit.
