(Video) Fabrizio Romano explains Pogba’s contract situation to Rio Ferdinand

Rio Ferdinand has been discussing Paul Pogba’s future with respected journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Every man and his dog is aware that the Frenchman’s contract expires next summer and fans have been concerned over whether or not he will stay beyond this season.

The midfield tends to use international breaks to speak out about his future, which he did during his recent call-up, but this time we have an update from the press.

No matter which teams walks into, he will be a star player and while I wouldn’t lose sleep if he were to leave for PSG or Real Madrid, there’s a lot to be said about the club being stuck in this awful situation because infamous agent Mino Raiola has them by the b*lls.

In the short video below, Ferdinand is told that there are two parts to Pogba’s situation as things stand. Romano claims the former Juventus star is happy and wants to see out the season.

Still far from the update we are all hoping for.

Pogba is also said to be pleased with the managerial situation – all despite shouts from social media to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer axed.

It is understand a contract has been tabled by United but no decision has been made by the player or his agent.
