Incredible Marcus Rashford stats shows Solskjaer has yet to unleash fiercest weapon

An astonishing statistic from Statman Dave on Twitter shows what a huge boost it will be to have Marcus Rashford back fully fit for Manchester United.

The forward underwent surgery on his shoulder after a long Euro 2020 campaign, which saw England lose in the final against Italy, and he has yet to kick a ball for the Reds this season as a result.

Rashford’s imminent return to the team should excite fans, ahead of a super tricky fixture schedule. However, it is unlikely we’ll see Rashford start this weekend against Leicester, he could be in contention to make the line-up a week later versus Liverpool at Old Trafford.

On his return, he will add to an already strong attacking department, with summer signings Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo complementing Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani.

With 35 goals scored under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Rashford has fired home more times than any other plater, proving it to be a huge boost to have him back in contention for selection.

I don’t think we saw a fully fit Rashford the best of times last season, but that didn’t stop him scoring important goals for the Red Devils. He’ll return this season with a bang.

Hopefully.
