Loads of Manchester United fans react to Raphael Varane injury news

Just our luck that Raphael Varane would pick up an injury with France in the Nations League final over the weekend.

Following the game, reports were ran on how an injury expert suggested that Manchester United could be without the French centre-back for between one week to three weeks, as per The Independent.

The club has since confirmed that Varane will be out for a few weeks:

“Raphael Varane sustained a groin muscle injury in the UEFA Nations League final and has commenced rehabilitation at the club. He will be out for a few weeks.”

This is, of course, a huge blow for United with huge games coming up against teams such as Leicester City and Liverpool. We are already up against it after a patchy start to the season and it looks like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has no other choice but to start with Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly this weekend against the Foxes.

There are also games coming up against Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League, as well as Tottenham and Man City in the league.

United fans have obviously not taken the news too well.

Some of the reaction can be found via Twitter below (includes brilliant Squid Game reference):

Let us know in the comments section how you think United will cope this weekend without Maguire or Varane.
