Leicester have potentially suffered a huge injury blow ahead of next week’s clash against Manchester United, with star striker Kelechi Iheanacho sustaining an injury whilst on international duty with Nigeria.
Iheanacho, who ended last season in dazzling form, which included a brace against Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-final, has featured in all seven Premier League rounds so far this season.
The former Manchester City striker played in Nigeria’s encounter with the Central African Republic but had his evening cut short after falling to the ground in the 34th minute. Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr has now confirmed that Iheanacho is a doubt for their next game, as seen below.

“There will be some changes, we have already some injuries,” he told News Central TV. “I don’t know if Kelechi is able to play, he had a knock. Then we have other players who are tired.”
Brendan Rodgers will be hoping to have his star striker available for the match on October 16 but with just over one week to go, he will be sweating on the fitness of his player.
