Manchester United left-back Alex Telles joined the club one year ago today, with the Brazil international recently scoring his first goal for the club in last week’s 2-1 win over Villarreal in the Champions League.
Telles, who joined the club from Porto on deadline day last year, started life at Old Trafford as Solskjaer’s first-choice when Luke Shaw was out through injury.
Shaw’s return to the side eventually shunned Telles from the picture and the England international has since become one of the best defenders in the world. After missing this year’s pre-season through injury, Telles will be hoping to enjoy an improved second campaign at the club.
The 28-year-old celebrated his one-year anniversary at the Theatre of Dreams by posting a montage on Twitter, as seen below.
