Video: Mason Greenwood scores equaliser v Southampton

Manchester United are in action again today in their second game of the season after a comprehensive win over Leeds United last week.

Goals from Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood, and Fred ensured that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side got off to the best possible start to the season as they scored five goals in front of a full crowd at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer made two changes for the trip to Southampton as Nemanja Matic and Anthony Martial made their first starts of the season. Southampton were lively from the first minute and took the lead through a deflected strike from Che Adams, leaving David de Gea with no chance.

Manchester United were dominant on set-pieces but struggled to assert their presence from open play in the first half. It was, however, not long into the second half before Solskjaer’s side scored the equaliser.

A neat move, as seen above, resulted in Paul Pogba getting the ball to Mason Greenwood, who made no mistake from inside the box again to score in consecutive games.
